Mechanic indoors
As an inside sales mechanic, you will be well trained in the first period. For a number of weeks, you will accompany an experienced fitter, who will teach you the ins and outs of our machines. Over time, you will learn where your strengths lie and where you still need support, the idea being to eventually function completely independently.

What do we offer you?
Your work consists of delivery preparation, maintenance and repair of forklifts, electric pallet trucks, diesel engines and generator sets. You will also carry out safety inspections, independently search for and repair faults. Overhaul work on machines and/or parts. Both logical thinking and thinking in solutions are right up your street. Work is carried out in our workshop in Maasdijk where you are part of a team of 12 to 15 employees.

What do we expect from you?
Our ideal colleague is someone with an MTS mechanical engineering education (preferred) or LBO with additional coursework. Some experience in the field of repair and maintenance of diesel/hydraulic and/or electric/hydraulic driven machines or vehicles, in addition, you have an independent working attitude.

Biggest challenge
Prins Maasdijk is a 60-year-old company and the largest supplier of Internal Transport Equipment, diesel engines and generator sets in the Westland region. Among other things, we supply Lafis warehouse trucks and Cesab forklift trucks. For many years, Prins Maasdijk has been the importer of Kubota diesel engines for the Dutch market.
