Prince spacing system
With their hydraulic drive, the forklifts developed by Prins Maasdijk are excellent for highly metered driving, and the driving characteristics at low speed make this the ideal machine for spacing potted plants. Prins Maasdijk therefore developed an easy-to-operate Prins Spacing truck in addition to the renowned adjustable plant fork and Prins forklifts.
A sophisticated electronic control system ensures that the forklift sets down the plants in bandages at a programmable distance. The Prins Spacing truck is unique because it can be equipped with almost any fixed fork and the machine takes care of the setting out. This is in contrast to conventional systems, which thus require a much larger investment. The driver sets a few parameters on the control panel such as pot size and desired distance. He or she then starts the staking out of the potted plants currently in the fork at the push of a button.
Fast, precise and simple. In just a few seconds, the pots are neatly aligned in connection and the next shift of plants can be picked up.
